Revenants was recorded in Nashville TN on analog equipment born in or around 1979, and in studios such as RCA Studio B -- where Elvis' microphone was used as the room mic.

Miss Molly Simms can sweep the floor with tender ruminations on loves lost and quiet yearning (along the lines of Lucinda Williams), but not before setting the situation straight with a few doses of hard- earned sass and voodoo bile. At moments, what others might consider a vulgar rant is actually a level-eyed take-down from someone who knows the blues. The band on this project is stellar, for sure, but Molly's a class act all on her own. Highly recommended listening."
